Responsibilities :This position will supervise daily painting and coating operations for commercial and government services. This position will be responsible for the supervision of craft labor, site management, quality assurance and quality control management along with completing Coatings inspections and documentation. The Site Foreman will work directly with inspectors and clients. This position will require weekend work to be performed and long periods away from home.
Experience :3 years of applicable hands on experience supervising activities and personnel on large scale multi-phased industrial coatings projects to include internal and external tank coatings experience. TWIC Card or capable of obtaining TWIC card. Education Requirements :Demonstrated proficiency in both oral and written communication; fundamental knowledge of mathematics and demonstrated ability to solve a variety of problems that can be modeled or solved by quantitative means. NACE certification, Steel Structural Painting Council member (SSPC), and 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health Training or equivalent highly desired.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Adobe preferred. Other Requirements :Individual must able to travel, work under respiratory protection, pass pulmonary function test (PFT), work under confined space, elevated platform work, lifting up to 75lbs. Physically capable of working outdoors in hot temperatures. Good hearing and sight.
Candidates must successfully pass pre-employment drug/background screens and CAPE physical examination and have the ability to use safety equipment as required.
